In 1994, the artist-photographer Geoffrey James was invited by Canadian Art magazine to submit images of Betty Goodwin's studio.

From this friendly and intimate meeting at the artist's home, Geoffrey James produced a series of twelve previously unpublished photographic prints which complete, with works by Betty Goodwin, the celebration of an important encounter.
