Screening of HOBO, a video by Jocelyne Alloucherie

The screening of an unpublished new video work, HOBO, will take place at the artist's studio at 5615 avenue Des Erables on August 20th and 27th. Included in the event will be the publication of a text by the art critic, Sylvain Campeau.

The political content already present in Geometry is more evident in HOBO.  At the beginning it refers to a lifestyle of North American workers in the 20th century and later becomes a visual narration concerning nomadism and migration.

Like Geometry, HOBO was co-produced with Bande Vidéo, Québec. The studio presentation is supported
by a grant from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec.
